Once replenished, take stairs

Then right at the top of the stairs, back on Ma On Shan Country Trail

After another 20 minutes walk, you'll reach this crossroad (there's a pavilion on the right).

After you have come down Pyramid Hill, there's a path to the left.
That's the bypass path of earlier. Instead, follow the MacLehose sign and go straight

You'll see this guy from time to time...

Just before the next big climb, (about 3 hours and 7.7km into your hike), you will veer right, following the MacLehose sign. That hill will be for another day!

Right

Left. Just follow MacLehose basically

Last junction. You are almost there. Head right. You'll soon reach Sai Sha Road. The closest bug stop is about 3 minutes walk to your left. You can choose to go to Sai Kung, or Shatin

2.5 hours, 9km
Difficulty:
2/10. Flat

Cel phone coverage: Partial

Water needs: 1 liter

Appreciation:
8/10

Why it's worth it:

-------------------
Take the MTR to Tsuen Wan station. Exit B1. Then go straight.

(1) You'll pass the garden down on your right, then arrive here, in front of the red building. Go down the stairs on the left. Then turn right at the first street on the same block. Right again on Shiu Wo Street.

Minibus 82 is right there at the corner. There are quite a lot of them so, you'll quickly be on your way

No need to "yau lau" the driver for this one, minibus 82 's terminus is at the Pineapple dam which is your trail's starting point. Right off the bus, climb the stairs.

Follow the Pineapple Dam nature trail. Quite nice actually with the cicadas singing their heart's content and the butterflies in large number.

At the top of a bunch of steps, about 15 minutes, you will reach the road. Head right.
Pretty easy afterwards, just loop around the reservoir until you get back to your starting point at the bus stop. Hard to get lost!

You need to cross the catch-water on the left of the waterfall, cross the waterfall, and climb-up on the right to bypass it. There's a visible footpath at the top. Then hop back in the stream

You'll reach this nice waterfall (石室瀑) and pool. Most likely will be dry-ish if it has not rained a lot.
Bypass is on the left as pictured. There's a yellow ribbon marking the bypass

The last, big waterfall is the Stone Dragon Waterfall (石龍飛瀑). Bypass is on the right.
The stream section is no more than 500m long

At the top of the bypass, you can go left to reach the top of the waterfall, snap a few pictures and come back. Head right to go back to town
Just follow the path which should be mostly visible throughout, until you reach this concrete catch water...

... which leads you to these stairs which you must take

Back on the service road. Head right and it will get you back to where you started

Head-left and take one of the numerous buses/mini-buses that will take you back to Tsuen Wan
