Tai Tam Mound Waterfall |
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite easy to get to, just take the SIland Line MTR to Sai Wan Ho Sation. Take E
Drop off at the Tai Tam Reservoir (North). When you see the dam, that's your stop just a little bit before.
The stop is marked with the blue dot. Retrace your steps from the direction you came from on the bus, to the trail head. Be careful as there are no sidewalks. Quite dumb actually.
Take the trail on the right side of the sign post.
The waterfall is about a 12-15 minutes walk from the road. Quite an easy walk too.
You will reach a first bridge, maybe 50 meters past distance post H067. Keep going.
Right after the second bridge (another 50 or so meters after the first bridge), right before the stairs, head left into the bushes. There's markings and a relatively well stepped-on path.
Go down the dirt path and you'll hear the waterfall. The waterfall is pretty nice. If you decide to make it a day, bring some food and you can go up the trail a bit where you will find BBQ pits and picnic tables. Plus, the reservoirs are nice to have a look at.
