@ Kennedy Town MTR, exit 'C'. Head left, right out of exit 'C', onto Forbes Street until it ends. Then right onto Cadogan Street... |
. |
First left onto Belcher's Street |
After 200m on Belcher's, turn right onto Sai Ning Street |
Climb the stairs on your left, at the end of Sai Ning Street |
Head right at the top of the stairs, onto Victoria Road |
About after 200m walking on Victoria Road, you will see this sign on your right and stairs going down to the Sai Wan Swimming Shed. Worth a quick detour. |
The Sai Wan Swimming Shed is one of Hong Kong's most Instagrammed spots. Once done, climb the stairs back and keep going on Victoria Road for about 500m. |
You will see the University of Chicago building on your right (very modern) and, right after, a set of stairs going down to the sea level. |
Once done, climb back the stairs and continue for a further 500m on Victoria Road... |
... until you reach this point where you will see stairs going down and signage pointing towards Sandy Bay Road. Take these stairs. |
Right onto Sandy Bay Road |
Right onto Sha Wan Drive |
You will stay on Sha Wan Drive for about 750m, until it merges into Cyberport Road. Keep right |
You will arrive at Cyberport, turn right, immediately after the Cyberport Sewage Treatment Plant. The Cyberport Park will be about 40m ahead. |
Follow along the park, with the harbour-front on your right. |
All the way past the park. |
You will be rejoining Cyberport Road at the very end (Easternmost part) of the park. Head right onto Cyberport Road |
You will keep going on Cyberport Road for about 500m... |
...until it merges into Victoria Road. Head right onto Victoria Road. |
Then right onto Wah Chui Road |
Keep right |
Stay on the right at the roundabout. Hong Fu Playground will be on your right. |
Then down the stairs at the end of the road |
Head right on Waterfall Bay Road, at the bottom of the stairs. |
The Waterfall Bay Park will be on your right, enter it on your right at the first entrance. |
The path on your right goes to the waterfall. Suggest you go have a look. On your left (green arrow) is the path you will take once you are done with the waterfall. |
Coming back to the same Waterfall Bay Park entrance, just keep going straight, rather than exit the park. |
You will walk down through the park for about 250m, going through a little village with scenic views of the sea. |
Just out of the park. Walk straight by the fence. |
Then join the seafront back at the next park. |
After the park, head right onto Tin Wan Praya Road. |
Walking towards Aberdeen. Not the prettiest part of the walk though... |
Just after you walk past the Wing Wai Industrial Centre, you will cross the little road shown above... |
... and then go towards the Aberdeen waterfront. |
Very pretty! (Ap Lei Chau is in the back) |
Walk along on the right of Yue Shi Cheung Road (do not cross it). You will see the Aberdeen Wholesale fish market on your right. |
Right after the fish market is the Aberdeen Park Promenade. Go in and towards the waterfront. |
A very pretty walk |
You will be walking on the boardwalk for about 600m before you reach the white pedestrian bridge. Cross-it, then head left right after. Afterwards, you simply follow the Heung Yip path, until it merges into the Heung Yip Road at Wong Chuck Hang MTR. You can end here or keep going to the next MTR stop (the proper end of the trail), which is Ocean Park. |
